Ways of Giving

It is important that we as alumni support Benedict College.  Please support the Benedict College Alumni Association by giving annually directly to the national organization or through the local alumni chapter where you live.  Understand that everyone can not give huge amounts of money.  Constant or consistent giving in small amounts is also helpful to the cause of insuring the proliferation of our alma mater.  Please read the letter  below and contact Brother Chandler Williamson if you have any questions. Letter from Brother Williamson

Hello Brothers of Gammu Mu I wanted to take this opportunity to say how wonderful it was to see all you at Benedict Homecoming 2006. Benedict has made tremendous strides over the last ten years. I feel very proud and honored to be an Alumnus of this distinguish institution of higher learning. Benedict has allowed all of us to pursue and attain lofty goals in our professionals careers. Personally, I've  benefited tremendously from  Benedict College. Over the last six years I have given back to the college in many ways. The last five years I've  been a member of Benedict National Alumni Association and served the last two years as President of the South Florida Alumni Chapter. Recently, at this homecoming Fall meeting I was elected to the National Executive Board of the Association as Parliamentarian. Brothers, Benedict has over 12, 0000 graduates to date and yet a disappointing 500 Alumni members. Within this group the average age is 55. The members give over $600,000 yearly to the college. Imagine if we had 5000 graduates as members.   I Call on all the Gammu Mu NUPES...... ITS TIME TO JOIN THE NATIONAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION IN YOUR CITY. We cannot afford to allow this organization which has a resounding voice in the way the school is operated to resort backwards. Sheryl Goode class of 89* is now the National President, one of the youngest elected to lead the Association at this position. I make this challenge to the Brothers, KAPPA"S LEAD, WE NEVER FOLLOW IN OUR ENDEAVORS. Lets trump all graduating greeks and be the First to have the largest membership role in the National Alumni Association of Benedict College.
